Carbon Reduction Plan
This Carbon Reduction Plan sets out Procea’s commitment to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 at the latest, with an ambition to align with the NHS Net Zero trajectory where practicable and proportionate. It also sets out the practical actions Procea will take to improve emissions data, reduce avoidable emissions, support sustainable procurement, and build carbon awareness into the way consultancy services are delivered.
The plan is based on three principles:
- Transparency: Procea will distinguish between confirmed data, reasonable assumptions and areas where further work is required.
- Proportionality: Carbon reduction activity will be appropriate to the scale, operating model and influence of a growing healthcare consultancy.
- Continuous improvement: Procea will improve the quality of its emissions reporting over time, with a particular focus on the Scope 3 categories that are most relevant to consultancy delivery.
